The New England Region is one of seven regions in North America as set forth by the IDTANA (Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America). The region follows the rules of both the IDTANA and the governing body in Ireland, An Coimisiún le Rince Gaelach (CLRG).
The New England Region prides itself on promoting Irish culture and tradition in a safe, welcoming environment for all dancers and families.
The New England Region includes dancers and schools in the following states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
It is the policy of the New England Membership not to allow or engage in discrimination against, or harassment of, any person on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, or physical, mental or other disability.
